The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Tree Planting

🌱 Some of the staff at Futures Ecology joined forces with the residents of Doe Lea, Chesterfield to help plant trees around the Doe Lea Recreation Ground on Friday 4th March 2022.

🌱 The 50 new native species of young trees, including Cherry and Oak, were planted all around the recreational ground in dedication for Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee year.

🌱 Many thanks to The Tree Council (@thetreecouncil) for the grant that enabled the Parish Council to purchase these trees and for our own Becx who applied for the grant and facilitated the ordering and receiving of the trees.
